Why We Built This Site
Arkansas law gives the public access to many government records, but Desha County records do not sit in a single database. The sheriff's office handles county law-enforcement records and local warrant questions, while Dumas and McGehee have separate police and district-court routes. Circuit criminal files belong with the circuit clerk in Arkansas City. State criminal-history products run through Arkansas State Police and ACIC, state custody records through the Arkansas Department of Corrections, and registry searches through the Arkansas Sex Offender Notification System. We bring those channels into one plain reference point.

Only the office that maintains the record can issue an official copy. In Desha County, that may be the sheriff, a city police department, the circuit clerk, a district-court department, Arkansas State Police, ACIC, Arkansas DOC, or the registry office.
